ColorStreet 100% nail polish strips last so long you may never want to take them off, but let’s be real, eventually the moment will come when you have to remove ColorStreet because:
- You’re desperate to try a new color
- Your nail growth is showing and you wanna cover that up.
I gotchu, friend. Since ColorStreet is 100% nail polish, that means that taking it off is simple. Here are three easy ways that you can remove ColorStreet nail polish strips.
Remove ColorStreet with Nail Polish Remover and a Cotton Ball
This method is pretty simple: it’s just a plain old cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover and used to rub off the polish until you have nekkie nails.
Pro: you probably have this all handy.
Con: you have naked nails.
Just kidding, that just means that you would be able to put new ColorStreet on (I got you the hookup). It can take slightly longer than you are used to because the base coat, top coat, and color coat are all in one, and let’s be real, if it is glitter, it WILL be stubborn. This is a law of the universe.
Remove ColorStreet with a Nail Polish Scrubby Jar
Have you ever seen the scrubby jars? They’re pretty cheap, and you can find them at walmart or target for $3 or less (or here on Amazon, if, like me, you prefer to shop sans pants).
Pro: these are fast and easy.
Con: some with hard bristles can be damaging to nails, especially paired with acetone.
Just be aware of your nail health if opting to use the scrubby jar, ok? I want your nails to be long, healthy, and not dried out or peeling. I prefer to use this natural remover. Use lots of nail oil cause that stuff is GOOD for you.
Remove ColorStreet by Picking it Off
It’s simple. Just go bananas and chip it all off.
Pro: it’s off.
Cons: ALL OF THEM – DO NOT DO THIS, OKAY!?!??!?!
Friend. Please for the love of all that is good and holy, do not pick off your nail polish. I am an anxious nail polish picker, so I feel you. Plus it’s satisfying. But good gracious, don’t do that; it is so bad for your nails. The polish adheres to a layer of keratin in your nails, and takes that with it when you pick it off, and makes your nails thinner and less healthy. This is one of the worst things that you can do to yourself, so please don’t, if you can help it.
In my ColorStreet VIP group, I’m going to teach folks how to make their OWN nail polish scrubby jar – come on over and join us! I’d love to have you come over and be a part of my community. And just in case you’re lost, check out my post, “What is ColorStreet?” here.
